The stress and resilience workshop key aims are:

For the audience to understand-stress how it may affect them and others (showing empathy) and what they should do to build resilience to combat stress, focusing on their own wellbeing.

This is usually designed for all employees (although we do also incorporate this into Line manager training) to understand there own stress and spot signs of stress in others. It offers resilience guidance to make them better equipped to deal with life stressors. This can last from 1-1.5 hours, depending on activities utilised.

Facilitated in a protected sharing environment by a qualified Registered General Nurse (BSc Hons.), who is a trained instructor and mental health first aider, this session will help you understand:

Stress & Resilience Workshop

  • The purpose and reaction to stress, and why we all have this mechanism
  • The impact of stress on the body, and what are our own stressors
  • How to spot the signs of stress and mental health issues in yourself or others
  • How to become more resilient in managing stress, with coping strategies for everyone
  • How to help yourself, and possibly others, experiencing stress

This opportunity may be for you if you’ve:

  • Had some training on stress resilience and want to refresh or deepen your understanding
  • Had no training on stress resilience training and want to learn what it is, and how it can help
